1. Information We Collect

We collect the categories of information described below when you use the Platform.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account & profile data: your name, email address, display name, headline, industry, job title, user type, bio, location, profile photo, cover photo, language preference, and other details you add to your profile.
• Content you post: posts, comments, reactions, images and videos you upload, portfolio items, work history, skills, and certifications.
• Messages: the content of direct messages you send to other users, along with sender and recipient identifiers and read status. Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
• Marketplace activity: equipment listings you create (title, description, price, photos, location, year, brand, model), the phone number you provide as a seller, and messages or inquiries about listings.
• Jobs: job postings you create, and information you submit when applying for a job, including your name, email, headline, a snapshot of your profile, and any resume or responses you provide through Easy Apply.
• Credit applications: business and financial information you submit through our commercial credit application, including personal guarantor information such as Social Security number and date of birth.
• Advertising: ad content you submit, uploaded ad media, destination links, targeting selections (industries, states, audience), and campaign spend.
• Connections & following: information about people you invite, connect with, follow, or report, and company pages you create, claim, or manage.
• Giveaways & referrals: your referral code and the email addresses of people you refer through giveaway referral links.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages and features you use, and analytics about how you interact with the Platform (including for signed-out visitors).
• Engagement data: your reactions, comments, saves, and the posts you view; profile view and post impression counts; job clicks and external job click-throughs; and search queries.
• Cookies & similar technologies: used to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if they are disabled.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) display your profile, listings, posts, and job applications to other users; (c) match you with relevant jobs, companies, and connections; (d) process payments for listings, advertising, and subscriptions; (e) send service, account, and alert notifications (respecting your notification preferences); (f) run giveaways and credit referral entries; (g) moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service; (h) power AI-supported features such as translation and the in-app assistant; and (i) improve, secure, and develop the Platform.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with: (a) other users, to the extent you choose to make it visible on your profile, listings, posts, or applications; (b) our third-party payment processor (Stripe) to handle transactions; (c) third-party lending partners who receive commercial credit application submissions (including business and personal guarantor financial information, such as Social Security number and date of birth) solely to evaluate and process financing requests you submit through the Platform; (d) service providers who help us operate the Platform — including email delivery, hosting, analytics, and AI processing providers — under appropriate confidentiality obligations; and (e) authorities where required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You can delete your account and much of your associated content at any time from your account settings; some information (such as posts you created) may remain visible to other users until deleted. We may retain certain information after account closure where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and record-keeping. Commercial credit application data (including sensitive guarantor information such as Social Security number and date of birth) is transmitted to our lending partners to evaluate your financing request and is not stored in our primary database beyond what is necessary to deliver and support the request; our lending partners retain such information according to their own records-retention policies as required by applicable financial and consumer-protection laws.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can update profile information directly in your account settings, delete your account from your account settings, or contact us to exercise these rights. If you are a California resident, these rights include the right to know what personal information is collected and to request that it be deleted; because we do not sell personal information, no opt-out of sale is required.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date and, where required, notify you. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
